Voices en Español

Europeana, a new European Union digital encyclopedia, is finally back online and open to the public. When it originally launched in November, it crashed, due to an overwhelming wave of traffic. It’s taken them this long to get things back up and in working order. Hopefully they’ve gotten the major kinks ironed out and the second time will be the charm. Personally, I’m looking forward to taking it for a spin since it has a reported more than 2 million items documenting European culture and history.
