Wanted: European guinea pigs to test new Spanish course
Hola, ¿Qué tal?, a new online course from Instituto Cervantes, officially opens for business on Jan. 12, 2009. But if you live in the United Kingdom, France or Germany and have a zero to low level of Spanish, the organizers need you to be testers in the pilot phase of the project.
Here’s the info I got:
Levels
The course is divided into 3 levels. Each level is divided into 3 modules.
1 module is similar to a quarter.
1 complete level will be similar to one year.
Pilot target
To be a tester it is preferable that you be an absolute beginner but it’s not mandatory. They say they want proactive testers and people interested in learning Spanish via the Internet.
Price
Students in the pilot project pay only 2 euros and are expected to give feedback about their impressions about the course, the multimedia content as well as its online delivery platform.
Starting January 12, the cost of the course to the public will be 175 euros for the quarter or 525 euros to do one complete level. However, students who enter the course during the pilot testing phase and wish to continue will receive a 50% discount.
